On the Council, every action I take, I ask myself "how this will play out, once the current Council is no longer in office?" "How will this action affect Plainfield 5, 10 and even 15 years out from now?" Everything I do, I ask myself "How will this affect Plainfield when I am no longer on the Council?"
But this is a joint effort. Citizens and the government must work together. Thus, I urge you to participate in the democratic process of running a local government. I urge you to come out to our council meetings. I urge you to ask questions. I urge you to volunteer your time, and your expertise, and help us move Plainfield in the right direction.
